My hunnie took me out on a date today to celebrate my birthday. We went down to Walnut Creek to see a movie, walked around the mall in Concord, and then had dinner in Pleasant Hill. Throughout the day, we got so many freebies!

Upon arriving at Walnut Creek, we picked up free Quinoa and Arugula salads from California Pizza Kitchen. We ordered on their website and when we got there, they were ready! It even came with free bread! Each salad costed $10.28 after tax but we got them both for free! =D This offer is still available for printing here.

We went to see Lawless at Century and got a free small popcorn and regular ICEE! It was from my birthday coupon from Cinemark. You can sign up for their weekly savings coupons here and on your b-day you will get this special coupon too.

I stopped by a few stores in Walnut Creek to redeem some coupons I had.

Victoria’s Secret sent me a $10 birthday gift so I used it to get some tights. Only had to pay $6.50 after tax for them (great deal!). Aveda sent me a birthday gift coupon for a full sized Personal Blends product ($25 value). I selected a scented moisturizer. I stopped by CVS and got 2 free trial sized Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy conditioners (normally $2.49 each). My hunnie and I used a coupon we got from the CVS website. It seems as though you can still request for one of these coupons here. Click “Get Yours Now” where it says Free Sample. The coupon is for the trial sized shampoo but the store ran out of those so I was able to get the conditioner.

At the Concord mall, I got my free chocolate piece of the month from Godiva.

You can sign up for their chocolate rewards program (free sign-up!) here and get a free piece of chocolate every month!

For dinner at Pasta Pomodoro, I got a free entree coupon for my birthday so I used it to get a Frutti De Mare (normally $15.95). Of course we ordered bruschetta too =P It was a cheap dinner though! You can sign up for their email program that offers various coupons throughout the year at Pasta Pomodoro restaurants.

As if I didn’t eat enough free food all day already, I picked up a free scoop of ice cream from Baskin Robbins on the way home. You can sign up for their birthday club here.

I love getting birthday freebies from companies =]

Awhile back, there were some high valued Glade Expressions coupons available for printing. I quickly printed a bunch from several printers because I knew they would get me free and cheap items.

There was a $3/1 Glade Expressions fragrance mist starter kit coupon and a $5/1 Glade Expressions oil diffuser starter kit coupon available. I printed 6 of each (only 5 of the oil diffuser one is shown because I bought one of them very early on). So I went to Target and saw that they sold the fragrance mist kits for $2.99. That means I could get those for free. They sold the oil diffuser kits for $5.99, which means I could get them for only $0.99 each (still a good deal).

I was able to buy the 5 oil diffuser kits for $0.99 each during a couple different trips to Targets around my area. The fragrance mists were always out of stock. So I just held onto those $3 coupons until they showed up. They ended up being in stock at Walgreens on Friday for the $3 price, which was unexpected! So I was able to get the 6 fragrance mists in one trip from Walgreens for FREE.

I even got back a $1 Register Reward which can be used as money to buy anything at Walgreens. So my total for all 6 fragrance mist starter kits after tax was really only $0.50! I didn’t post the receipts for the oil diffuser kits since they were from different trips and there are too many receipts haha. They were simply $0.99 each plus tax.

There is now a bottle of fragrance mist in each of my 3 bathrooms and one in my room. It’s always nice to stock up when things are cheap.

Lately there has been many free item coupons in my mailbox. This past week’s freebies:

Includes: a tumbler courtesy of Keurig, 2 Tom’s of Maine deodorant, Perfectly Simple nutrition bar, 4 free 20 oz Coca-Cola product coupons (these were from the free Coca-Cola points I posted about on my Facebook frugal page awhile back)

My birthday is in ten days so a bunch of free food from various restaurants has begun rolling into my mailbox. Yay!

Before work today, I stopped by CVS to get two items. After work, I just decided to do some couponing at Target.

At CVS, I got some pads and eye drops for allergies. On the eyedrops, I used a $2 off any Visine eyedrops coupon from the 6/10 RP insert and combined it with a $1.50 off any Visine eyedrops CVS in-store printed coupon. For the pads, I had a $2 off any Stayfree product coupon from the 7/22 SS insert, making them free. I also used a 10% off coupon that takes 10% any non-sale items (which was only the eyedrops). Paid a total of $1.76 for both items.

At Target, I did a bunch of coupon stacking. Remember, you are allowed to use one manufacturer coupon plus one Target coupon per item. Since the receipt is confusing, here’s a better summary of the coupons I used for each item:

Raid Ant Killer - $3.49

-Used a $1/1 Raid product coupon from 6/24 SS insert

-Used a $1/1 Raid spray online printed Target coupon
